Badger Basement Systems will be participating in the annual Safety Saturday event. This community event will take place on June 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Capitol Square (at MLK Jr. Blvd.) Safety Saturday is held by the City of Madison Fire Department to promote living habits that keep individuals safe, and to teach children how to make safe choices.
Badger Basement Systems will be handing out free radon gas kits to interested members of the public. The radon kits will be on a first come first serve basis and supplies are limited. Radon gas is responsible for an estimated 20,000 lung cancer deaths in the U.S. each year.
Included in the event are educational and interactive demonstrations about: safety belts, child fingerprinting, jaws of life vehicle, bicycle safety, dog safety and more. Badger Basement Systems cares about the community and its safety and is proud to part of this event.
